The End of July

We are now in the "paperwork pregnancy" part of our adoption.  The official name for this phase is called the dossier.  We have collected all the papers required and now wait for the United States government to send us a letter aking us to go get fingerprinted.

We have done this before, but it doesn't matter.  We do it all over again each time we adopt.  It's OK, and we have peace about it.  Last time we were anxious and felt like things were unfair because we had to wait for bureaucracy.  This time we know we would have not been matched with Abrham if things had gone "faster" last time.  God knows what he is doing, and he has a perfect plan.  That is the source of all peace in our lives!

I have to put a quote here that I just read on a friend's blog.  She lives so far away, but she is a sister in heart. You wouldn't believe her family's story!  Her blog beautifully states:

"It is a poverty to decide that a child must die so that you may live as you wish" - Mother Teresa

This is why we do what we do, and why some of you think we are so crazy.  :)  Does it make more sense now?  If you want to find out how you can do the same...just ask us.  We can mentor you through the whole process if you like.
