Hopeful for Friday

We are sooooo waiting to hear anything about our court date.  Yesterday I got the nerve up to send an email to the Ethiopia travel coordinator with our adoption agency.  It went something like this...."We know you are really busy, we appreciate all that you do....but do you have any news for us as to why we are waiting so long for a court date?"  This was precipitated by seeing others who have waited less time get court dates issued yesterday for March.  Here is the email answer that we got:


"We are waiting on a final clearance piece for your case before you will be issued a court date. Over the past few months we have seen the court change requirements on documentation/clearance formats, etc. which has delayed many families from receiving court dates in the anticipated timeline. I spoke with Duni this morning again specifically regarding your family’s paperwork and we are hopeful to have the needed piece by the end of the week. Please rest assured that we are doing everything in our power to get a court date for your family as soon as possible."


So, this is exciting.  A court date will be awesome to receive this week because it has been sooooo hard to wait.  Here is something to pray about:  the "final clearance piece" to make it to the court in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.  Thank you for your support and prayers.
